サイエント ジャパン、米SBIとライセンス契約を締結

2002年7月17日のプレス・リリースで発表された米国サイエントの買収が裁判所に承認され、10月1日付けで米国サイエントはＳＢI and Company (http://www.sbiandcompany.com) の一部となり、名称も変更いたしました。

これに伴い、サイエント ジャパンの19%の株主であるサイエント・インターナショナルもSBI and Companyの100%子会社となり、SBI and Companyが実質的なサイエント ジャパンの少数株主となりました。

サイエント ジャパンは、2002年10月1日付けでSBI and Companyとライセンス契約を締結し、これまでと同様に、日本におけるサイエントの名称およびロゴの使用、知的財産の交流、そしてグローバルな協力関係を継続することになりました。

今後とも、トランスクリエーション、スタジオ、コンサルティングの三つのサービス・ラインを事業の柱にして、お客様の事業の拡大と収益力の強化支援を、積極的に成功報酬の枠組みを取り入れてお客様と事業リスクを共有する形で、実施して参ります。

SBI and Company Completes Scient Acquisition

SALT LAKE CITY, October 2, 2002

- SBI and Company, a leading professional services firm, today announced it has completed its acquisition of Scient which includes talented and experienced employees from across the U.S., relationships with marquee customers, and expertise in industry vertical markets. In addition, SBI has acquired Scient's UK office giving SBI its first European base of operations.
